José is a senior associate attorney at Espíndola International Consultants since 2022, a member of the corporate law and sustainability area, therefore, responsible for advisory and consulting services to the business sector; public sector and third sector in matters of due diligence in human rights, responsible business conduct, corporate sustainability, BIC companies and reporting.

José is a Lawyer who graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and has a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and Specialization in Human Rights from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, the Netherlands, and a Specialization in Analysis and Resolution of Armed Conflicts from the Universidad de Los Andes.

José has been a managing partner of Equilibre Consultores SAS, a firm that provides advisory and consultancy services on responsible business conduct, business and human rights, and corporate sustainability. Strategy Director of the Regional Center for Responsible Companies and Entrepreneurship (CREER), think tank on business and human rights. Professor at the Universidad Javeriana in matters of business and human rights. Consultant to the private sector, public sector and international organizations in development projects and legal research on justice and anti-corruption. He was Manager of the Integrated Management System and Corporate Sustainability of the Bogotá Energy Company.
